Forza Motorsport 3 gives players the chance to create paint jobs for their cars, and also allows them to upload them to the store front so other players are able to purchase their art work.
This isn't anything new to the Forza world as players have been doing this since Forza 2.
However, recently on the Forza forums a user by the name of SLIM135 got banned for creating a copy of a Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Awareness bumper sticker.
The
original post reads:
"ok the banning is a little ridiculous I was banned for a bumper sticker for *** cancer awareness. seriously with all the trash that people put in this game. igert banned for trying to help out." [sic]
That's right, they censor out the word "breast" even on their forums.
He also went on to say:
"fyi i have many friends and family members with the illness. i am a huge supporter of the foundation. also i used one of their logos. so get the facts first."
Sadly, Turn 10 responded to his post with this in big bold letters, before locking the thread from further replies:
Currently we are banning users who have created an item that contains any of the following elements:
* Depictions of nudity and/or sexual themes and suggestions. This includes "censored" designs or items that are deemed inappropriate.
Wow Turn 10, I'm sure your families must be proud...
Tell Turn 10 how you feel about this ban -
