Registration and Email Confirmation

The ConsoleTECH Forum requires that new members confirm their e-mail address during the registration process. This is done, as with most online forums, by clicking on a "confirmation link" which is sent to the e-mail address you specify when filling in the registration form.

Therefore, it is essential that you specify a valid e-mail address. Relax - we won't pass your details on to anyone else!

Certain e-mail services, such as Hotmail, may falsely detect the confirmation e-mail as spam. If you have not received the e-mail, please check your junk e-mail folder.

If you are still having problems, please contact us using this form. Please select the "Registration Problem" radio button and provide both the username and e-mail address with which you registered and we will endevour to manually activate your account with 24 hours.

Every so often we will check newly registered users. Those which are shown to be awaiting e-mail confirmation for an extended period are activated manually once the IP address used to sign up is confirmed not to have originated from known spammers.
