Man there are so many different memorable moments from postal 2, and even the original postal wich took me some time to find the uncut version, for 30 bucks from canada.... but getting back to the point, postal was one of the games i felt that im apart of, there are no rules , no limits to what you can do or cant, and just not giving fuck what other think about it. Many people bashed the game for its content and dark humor, but they missed on one of the most important factors .... that its a game made for a specific purpose, to make people laugh and have a good time going, as they say "postal". As a person that knows violence, sex, racism, stereotyping etc. its just part of human life, and games have the right to express them also in their own way. And thats what i loved in postal, that all the things we see in life, can happen in a game, where an normal even, can surprisingly change in an instant, where you can explore the depth of the in games environment in a totally different ways. the game had a character totally different then any other game out there by the time, instead of some super hero trying to save the planet, you get to play as a drunk, pot smoking, white trash guy, named postal dude, where normal day to day, experiences can turn upside down. in those moments I just loved how you could of do so many different things to change the outcome, such as the bank robbery, will you go kill the robbers, or kill the cops and help them rob the bank? or you might just flee the scene like a little pussy, or you will just stay down and see what happens next. Will you stay in line for Gary's autograph or you will cut people , who are trying to give you the bird. and of course you can just take your fucking shotgun, do some catnip, and blow every bodies brains out, while all the chunks and sound goes to slow motion. Weapons , yes the weapons are one of their kind, who before seen a shovel that could be used to cut peoples heads off? who could get a normal tank of gasoline and pour in down on bystanders and lit them on fire? not many other games had the balls to do that.

This is why postal is an excellent game of all time, it took one more step then others , and achieved the impossible.

don't want it to become some 5 page essay heh, so thats what i think of the game, i played the multiplayer for years and that part kept the community and the fan base going, and im looking forward to the next installment of postal 3, and the expension of the multiplayer in the future, good luck RWS.

Postal 2 getting banned In New Zealand

Man, this has to be the most memorable moment of my computer gaming life. By this time, I had played almost all of the FPS games on the market. Unreal, Quake, Doom etc. But I had never encountered a game quite like postal 2. It may have been the most violent, racist, and yet funniest game I had ever played. It still will never get beaten as the best FPS I had ever played.
Then, that fateful day arrived, Postal 2 was banned in New Zealand. The first time I heard of this I shouted FUCK!!!! because I was planning on buying Postal 2: STP. So that at our next LAN party we could Share The Pain! So, What I did was got my friend in the US of A to get me a copy. And he did. So thanks RWS, for the best FPS ever made!

Post 10 years of postal already

Postal has been a staple of my life for the last ten years. As a result it is difficult to describe one postal moment as the most memorable. It might be the day that I first saw the two page ad in the magazine, but that was only the beginning. I vividly remember walking into the Staples store and seeing the original postal sitting on the end of a shelf in a well stocked display. I made my parents buy it then and there. I've been hooked ever since.

Frequently I find myself qouting the disturbed journal entries of the first game. even more so whilst playing the sequel. maybe my most memorable moment was the anticipation of postal two, playing the demo, or finally sharing the pain online. I nearly crapped myself when I heard about postal three, and I came even closer when I hear about uwe bolls upcoming film rendition. I couldn't believe Dave Foley was going to play uncle dave. Not only that, but actually taking a dump on camera! Awesome.

In terms of memorable gameplay moments, I loved killing the ostriches and editing maps in P1. But all the really memorable gameplay is from P2 + AW + Kamek's AW7 mod. Smoking catnip and dicing airborne bodies just to watch the chunks fall once the drugs wear off. I love the greenbelt and the explosive shack, but particularly the mattress there as you can stand on it and kick it around actually achieving limited flight. all the moveables in the dining area of meatworld are fun too.

Peeing gonnoreah in someones mouth to watch them puke so i can smash their skull with a sledge and see the spew.

The list of twisted pleasures goes on and on ensuring that Postal in all it's incarnations is indelibly etched into my mind.

Favorite postal moment

My favorite postal moments aren't really doing any of the missions it's the free roam. I remember one time turning the dead body count all the way up and just going crazy and killing at least 40 people. I kicked all the bodies into the middle of the road then made my way on top of the buildings and on a telephone wire. I soaked all the poor dead fools with alcohol, lit a match and watched the poor bastards burn. Whilst the general public puking in disgust while watching. I also like knocking people's heads off with a shovel, kicking the heads and then having champ play fetch with it. Good times... Thanks for 3 good years of fun RWS, Postal 2 is by far the game I have played the most in my life.

Favorite moment with Postal and RWS

I have to say my best experience was my addition into Apocalypse Weekend. Josh's computer at work got a virus, they needed it removed, I did so and didn't charge them for it. Normally I would do so for my services. They took me outside, snapped some face shots, and a bit of time later, I see my face shots, bloodied up.

Here's a screenshot:

A fan who got to be in the game. Quite happy with that.

Not as elaborate as some of the other ones, but that's the whole of it. I wouldn't want to bore you to tears with my techniques of virus removal.

I'm particularly fond of the part where I stole Postal2 from my local Gamestop..

Was this supposed to be about in-game experiences? If so, then I guess the part that sticks in my mind the most is "I need an alternator for an '87 DaFUCKyou."

Talking

I remember to be a bit shocked about the burned people (I was a 'lil younger then) and I still don't like them, to ugly.
Appart from that the most shocking thing was my mother entering my room (ALT+TAB(+TAB=OOOOPS!!!)) ^^

Ingame the best moment was the start:
You have a game, suspect some action and you are told to buy milk. I went to the supermarket, was confused and did not pay. So I had to shoot the merchant and was enlighted.

Now I have to take a look at this forum.
