I'm back!! Yes, yes I have took some time off to take care of some things. I've been promoted in my real job and its been leaving me a lot less time to tend to everything else, and sadly even ConsoleTECH.

I've also taken the first step to better my long term health with quitting smoking, had my last cigarette at 8 o'clock last night and tossed on the patch thirty minutes later.

As far as the world of gaming goes, I have a lot of things to get off my chest.
First and for most, yes calling out the fan boys. IGN, Kotaku, Sony Defence force, to me jokes of the gaming world be seem to have "respect" around the gaming world. I guess all those kick backs and free vacations are doing you all well...
Regardless of the fact, I can not understand how some can score a game 8.1 for the Xbox-360, and give the same game, the same port for PS3 8.0. Doesn't make sense now does it?
In all fairness to each console, port is a port, except if you're EA apparently but its truly sad to see one console get burnt if someone looks at the ps3 the wrong way the sky is falling, don't believe me? Look at other rubbish outlets out there, that and praise one as the Jesus Christ of all consoles *coughWiicoughKotaku*
The purpose of doing what we do, hobby or not and if its your FULL TIME JOB, is not to play the fan boy, yes I know its hard at times, but I've tried to stay in the middle of the fence for awhile. But if you ask me what is my fav gaming console, Playstation 2 hands down. This era? To be honest, I'm growing tired of the 360, yes halo3 was great, PGR 4 is fun. But after awhile, its lost its interest with me, also leaving me to second guess is this the console that can offer me fun long term? The games are continuing to be the same, race, shoot, sports. xbox live gold? Is there a real point to having it? At times I feel as if I'm paying for an MSN account, there's been a bit of a let down. I don't feel as if I'm getting something extra with this, but I've noticed now some games wont go online with a Silver account, didn't MS say they would never do this to people? I play any game online now and I'm paying to have 14 year olds curse or sing on the mic, now before you go pointing the finger at the mute button I will flip you the finger with, I paid for this service to enjoy it, yes I've muted people before but now its getting out of hand having to mute 7 people during 2 hours session. Now this isn't bashing 360 and Wii rant, and rising the ps3 to a holy grail. Far from it, PS3 has its issues, same with 360 and Wii. But for those out there who have thousand upon thousands of readers believing the rubbish you put down, try not to be so left or right wing, its becoming rather annoying.
