Long Live Amiga

This year E3 had a lot of buzz, some of the press quoted to be saying "the reader at home most likely knows more about some titles then us, who are attending the event".

But, some of that buzz belonged to Nintendo, and the new "WiiFit". People have been quick to jump at the idea and claim this maybe one of the greatest idea from Nintendo since the Wii. Mind most people have no idea that this idea is over 25 years old.
Letâ€s go back to 1982; Amiga released a balance board peripheral for the Atari VCS called the Joyboard.

The technology was far less sophisticated than WiiFit, which of course is no surprise. In the place of analog pressure controls for each foot surface, the joyboard simply installed the four directional latches of a joystick on the bottom of the board. Lean to engage the latches and control the game.
Needless to say the idea is far ahead of its time.
The only game released for the joyboard was Mogul Maniac, which of course a skiing game, Not like Ski jump for WiiFit, Mogul Maniac is a slalom course.
During that era this idea went through the cracks and went un-noticed, until E3 2007.
