The first real day during XNA GameFest, MS had a booth set up with some up and coming accessories for the 360, and yes most of the items were hands on!

We took some time away from Branden Powell (Xbox Accessories) .. Trust me it was no walk in the park for him at all we didn't pull any punches with what we asked!
I took the time to really have a hands on feel with the Messenger Kit...

With the last update as many know, you are now able to sign on to MSN via Live, I thought this was a great idea since I always have my laptop near me when I'm on live. But with out the keyboard it was a bit of a pain to type back and forth, and with the slow speed I was experiencing this turned extremely frustrating! This all changed when I took the controller in hand and felt how light, and how natural feel to it. To message a friend now is just simple, and you can do it during game play. The buttons and very well spaced and if anyone text messages anyone on a cell phone or Smart Phone device will feel right at home with this. Now your normal head set does not work with the Messenger Pad, but fear not, not only do you get the Pad, but a new headset! This comes in a good time as well, mine is starting to die!
We then moved on to
Scene It! (Fall this year)
When this was announced at E3, I was a bit on the sideline, But just like the board game we got into it .....

The remote fits in the palm of your hand and it turns into an all out war, it's a free for all with movie clips, questions and if you have ever had a turn on Scene It just so much more now! What took me was unseen loading times! Now I did notice you will have to add a sensor like bar (like the Wii) somewhere on around your 360 or tv (doesn't matter) to have four player party. But it's a small price to pay for the amount of fun when group of people come over and some drinks are had. Now we can only assume that MS has further plans for the remote as well as Live packs for Scene It! Plus for the price of 59.99 for all four remotes and the Scene It game, its hard to say no!
Now comes the odd and ends around the booth, first off multicolor controllers, yes I'm a sucker for these things, and I wish I could buy then all, but sadly not all of the colors will be released in North America ...

I did make sure to protest and make sure to tell Brandon there is a market in North American for these items!
Halo 3, yes...before you finish the fight with the dew, and beat hunger with the King, you can reward yourself with these

Perfect for those who will get there sticky hands on a halo 3 console looking to have everything match *coughmecough* these are final builds, and looks great! (note, that controller belongs to Brandon and he did bring it in for us, atlest we like to think so, Thanks Branden!)
