Happy 2008 all, I do hope everyone had a great New Year, and got to spend time with people in there lives who mattered to em.
With that said, its time for ConsoleTECH's "We told you so"
Now some of this was never posted on the forum, since well..there was a time, one reason or another, never made it to the site.

I still stand by that remark, they Wii is a great none gamers console but nothing more then that. Far to many party mini game type titles being poured out. Also the fact I could careless about Super Smash Bro's, Zelda, and Mario Galexy is good, but I think its far from the seconding coming as some people and reviewers make it out to be.
This past holiday yet another Wii shortage, while sadly many parents and people paid top price for the unit via ebay, or bundles offered some as high as $700 dollars. Nintendo found a way to keep interest in the console. But hey, it's made then a boat load of money! Go figure!

I said it, was I wrong? Not bad, not good...it was fun to go online, but lack of Maps and options made it short lived with me. Shortly after releasing maps for ten dollars?! You kidding me! I would like to thanks Microsoft and Bungie for Halo 2.5.

I would be silly to say Microsoft is in trouble, they had a strong season, Live is a cash cow for MS. But with a flat..very flat E3 that Microsoft presented 07', it showed MS doesn't have much going for them in 08' and hence Peter Moore wanders off to EA.

Yes Microsoft, what does Gold get me? I remember the tall tail of the advantages of it..but I suppose reality sucks...

It's true..as we move forward and time wanders ahead..DVD9 will not be the golden pony it once was. I wasn't going to give a reason but....I know some eye rolling shall take place. Its wonderful when someone can make something for what it truly is..rather then what MS tells you it should be..oh did I say that out loud?!

New broken out that MS is working on first party titles for its next console.
Now, we have had RROD launch console, RROD PGR 3 console, RROD elite, and rumor to have a new version with HD DVD, I doubt that shall happen now since Warner Bros has embraced Blu ray like a first born son.
But mark my word next console for MS, keep your ears open 09, with motion controls and swappable HDD
