    Running PS3 unit

This unit apprently was running for roughly 12 hours or so with out any over-heating problems.
    As well,
"Also, Ps3insider reported that the console is very quiet save for a little noise at the start while it is booting"
From what this blog owner states his PS3 insider was unable to say where he took these pictures from.
Looking good from what I can see.

The consoles on display weren't really running the games (as you can see by the pic DeadperfecT put up). They had dev units underneath that were actually doing all the work. From what i've heard, they kept crashing but i'm willing to write that off as software instability rather then hardware problems. The dev units themselves can run for days, but they don't have error trapping setup very well (any sort of memory error or divide by zero error will crash the whole system).

It's good to know that the 'retail' systems can show a pair of LED's for hours at a time without crashing though... assuming they had any electronics inside.
