Tattoos: I can't seem to get enough of them. I've almost completed my first sleeve and I'm now working on my second.

I take pride in all the work done on my body, from my arms to my legs. I also take pride in being a gamer as far back as I can remember.

However, sometimes the two just don't mix.

Here is a small collection of work people have had done that made me ask... "Why?"

What sounds like a good idea in your head or on a forum doesn't usually make a smooth transition. Case in point:

Ah, Zelda. Any gamer worth their salt can smile and remember the good ol' 8-bit and 16-bit era of the Zelda games. Then you see something like this and you just start to shake your head. The positive side of this one, however, is at least people won't have to look at it every day:

This doesn't seem so bad, everything looks normal here. A very common process going on...

..until you notice the car accident that is taking place on her back:

One might think, "Oh, I'm sure once it gets filled in a little more with some colour it won't be so bad." Alas, no! This isn't the case at all. The more he fills it in, the more it looks like shit:

Behold! Marvel at the beauty of the finished product! It really blends in quite nicely with the pink blob - which I can only assume is an art nouveau interpretation of a 360 controller - and the rose on her right shoulder. The rose with some sort of triangle around it:

She claims it's "the ultimate nerd stamp."

I beg to differ, however. It's "the ultimate stamp of suffering mental retardation."
