To those playing Forza 3, if you make a copy of any BTCC logo's get ready for this.

"Well... I've had a letter thretening me with legal action for having having the BTCC logo's on my storefront so there gone


It's a bit crap to be honest... suerly it's just good advertising and fans enjoying the game and there sport? It's not like you make real money from these... there IN GAME credits to spend on IN GAME cars... and you can't even share them for nothing with other fans.... absolute rubbish..."



This is the response from the BTCC Media Office, first they edited a post on their forums pointing out details of the threatening messages then made their position clear:

"Messages removed at the request of the BTCC Media Officer. To sum up the content you may not use the BTCC or assosiated logo's in the Forza game as they are the owned by the BTCC group. If you do the BTCC will take legal action against you."


Another forum user jonboy1066 had this to say

"My son and daughter are huge fans of the BTCC and like to draw pictures of BTCC cars on paper so are the BTCC heavies going to be sent round my house to threaten my 8 and 6 year old children with legal action for copying logos?"
